“But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”- Jeremiah 17:7-8
God has been teaching my husband and I about His supernatural provision for years (almost three years) now. I read this verse today and it seems so relevant... as we are in a time a drought with this US economy this year. But our confidence is not built up in the stock market numbers, or in circumstances around us. Our confidence is set on the steady, stable, unchanging hand of God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has given us roots beside a stream of living water because He is faithful. He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL. He cannot NOT be faithful. So there is no need to let doubt creep into our house. And he continues to give us the ability to bear fruit, even in a year of drought, because He loves us. He is LOVE. Let us not looks to the uncertainty of our time... but instead, let us seek the Lord, and place our trust and confidence in Him. Thank You Father!

Beautifully said. Surprisingly, I am not worried about the economy. I tithe, I put my financial trust in the Lord & He has never let us down...not once. He is so good. We know the end of the book & it is awesome for those of us that love the Lord!
Blessings to your family today!
Mimi
this is a great verse
