2 Stories....

BLOG UPDATE:
Story #1: We went to some friends house for dinner last week. Our babies are about the same age, but ours, being a few weeks older is mobile now and into EVERYTHING he can get his hands on! While we were there he took their little girls humidifier completely apart. He tried to drink out of their doggy bowl twice. He pulled up on a shelf to get to the lit monitor and then knocked it off sending batteries flying. And even with our efforts to teach "gentle" behavior, he got excited and sorta hit their sweet baby girl right in the face. Will they ever have us back?

Story #2: I was house sitting for my family this week and I had the baby over there with me. Well... I had to use the restroom and their house is not totally child proof yet so I just took him in there with me. He was playing with a basket my Mother has in there (on the floor) and as I was finishing up I noticed that he had gotten into the basket... into a box of tampons... and he was now playing with it like a drum stick and talking and having the best time with his new-found "toy". He carried it, while crawling, into the living room and continued to use it to beat on his other toys. My Mom's reply, "Hey, it's sanitary". My Husbands reply, "He will never be proud to know that he ever even touched one of those. I'm married and I don't want to touch that." He continued... "And if you write a blog about this, he will never be proud of that either." And as a follow up story: We had some friends over (the3bryants bloggers) to grill out and swim and my son shared some of his tampons with their daughter. How sweet. Her Mom and I told them we would tell them this story when they are older.... "Guess what yall played with?" Ha!! Her daughter is older than my son and she keep thinking it was candy because it was in a wrapper and wanted her Father to open it!!! Funny times with our kids....

Had to share!!

Oh, the things we experience as moms! I know Kaira has been into the tampons and pulled a mini pad out of my purse while I was in public talking to someone. Kaira is finally breaking me in as a mom. Isabella and Annais never did any of this stuff. I guess it will keep me humble...or embarrased.
