33 Weeks & Counting...

My Pregnancy Update ~ at 33 Weeks
45 Days To Go...
Hello from BabyCenter!
This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark.

He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

MY UPDATE ~ At 33 WEEKS!  It's going by TOO fast!  Is that odd to say?  I am one who LIKES and ENJOYS being pregnant.  Sure there is more pressure this time around (down low) but it's not ALL the time.  And sure it's  a little harder to sleep toward the end (the last couple of months I require like 12 pillows... ok, so it's only 5, but they all have to be a certain way)...  But all in all, I love the privildge and blessing of carring my children while they are being formed by God.  I like the way I am constantly reminded that my body is not my own and that it's not "all about me"... I try to eat healthy meals, I try not to breath in toxic or harmful things, I try to stay active and fun with my two year old so that I can get some excersice, and overall, I try to think about the baby's needs.  I think about names A LOT and pray over what the names are. (I highly recommend the book: Praying for your Unborn Child)  I absolutly love to feel them move in there or having hiccups or dancing... it just blesses me and lets me know that they are Okay.  I love to be able to pray for them through out the pregnancy and feel so bonded and feel like I sorta already "know them" even though, with the 2nd, I now know, that there is still SO much more to come!  And I can't wait to meet him face-to-face, to hear his voice, to see his eyes.  I wonder - Often - What will he look like?  What is his little personality like?  It's like unwrapping a gift for several years... as we watch our babies grow.  They amaze me.  I'm honored to be a Mom.  And while I didn't know that we would go through another job lay off and end up moving and trying to sell our house toward the end of this pregnancy.  God did.  And He has fully equipt me to handle this transition and to settle / nest in our new apartment with 7 weeks left to go....  He will be here in my arms SOON!

Wow it is going by so fast. I couldn't wait to meet my second one either. I was a little more relaxed because I knew sortof what to expect.

God has put you and your family in a safe place - somewhere for more people to help you and love you. Less financial stress. More peace. What a good place for the new baby to enter!
